6th RALLY GREECE OFFROAD is concluded with great success after 4 days of racing in the mountains around city of Kastoria. From 17th to 20th of May, competitors from Greece, Italy, Serbia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Romania and Israel covered 900km from which 500km where Special Stages.

Winners of 6th RALLY GREECE OFFROAD are the Israeli Team “POINTER I-GO” with HEYMANN Raz and SEGAL Hillel, driving a “Layogev Segal” T1 vehicle.

Second in Overall classification is also a Team from Israel, “GATOS 4x4 Team Israel” with SHIMONI Shay and Gidon Ben SHMUEL, driving a T1 L200.

Third in Overall Classification a Team from Greece, “Free Sunday Team” with SIOUTIS Petros and MAKRIS Kostas with a Mitsubishi Pajero of TH category.

The high level of competition was marked by the fact that between 1st and 2nd in overall classification, the difference was just 1,6 seconds after an incredible fight for 500km.

In SSV (Side by Side vehicles) category, HAY Ezer and BEZALEL Hezi of “RallyArt Team” from Israel finished first with a CanAm X3 Turbo, followed by CETIN Ali and EREN Fatih of “ISOFF Team” from Turkey also with CanAm X3 Turbo. 3rd in SSV category are BIRINCI Erkan and OZDEMIR Arman of “ISOFF Team” with CanAm X3 Turbo.

6th RALLY GREECE OFFROAD was the 1st round of “2018 EAST EUROPEAN TOUT TERRAIN SERIES”.

A special thank you to local authorities for their contribution to the success of the event. Region of Kastoria, Municipality of Kastoria, Police, First Aid and Fire Department, along with all volunteers that assisted Organizers to demonstrate a successful race.

West Macedonia Region and city of Kastoria will be the center of action for the 6th edition of Rally Greece Offroad. After four years in the magnificent city of Florina, Organization Committee decided to re-allocate the race center to Kastoria. Florina (previous race center) and Kastoria are neighbor cities.

In 2018 we will present new format of race giving a preference to longer Special Stages making competitor's endurance more critical for the final results.

Organization Committee of 6th RALLY GREECE OFFROAD starts working for a totally reformed event compared to previous years.

New places, new routes, new race setup, upgraded level of organization, safety and hospitality. All these following the experience of the last five years and the proposals for improvements given by competitors and team managers.
