RALLY GREECE OFFROAD 2018 is open to vehicles of a maximum gross weight of up to 3,500 kg for Groups T1 four or two wheel drive, T2 and T3. Vehicles, complying with the ‘Score’ regulations, will be accepted in the competition as per Article 9 (FIA General Prescriptions). These vehicles must comply with the safety specifications laid down by the International Convention on Road Traffic, as well as the safety specifications laid down by the FIA regulations or by present Supplementary Regulation. Also accepted vehicles of, TZ1 (TH relevant), SSV, Moto, Quads. Vehicles shall be assigned to the following categories:
Group FIA T1 – Improved Cross Country Vehicles:
Class
T1.1: T1 4x4 Petrol Class
T1.2: T1 4x4 Diesel Class
T1.3: T1 4x2 Petrol Class
T1.4: T1 4x2 Diesel
Group FIA T2 – Cross Country Series Production Vehicles:
Class
T2.1: T2 Petrol Class
T2.2: T2 Diesel
Group FIA T3 – Improved Cross Country Vehicles:

Group TZ1 (TH relevant) – Vehicles without FIA homologation:

TZ1.1: vehicles up to 2.500cc engine capacity
TZ1.2: vehicles from 2501cc up to 3500cc engine capacity
TZ1.3: vehicles from 3501cc up to 4500cc engine capacity
TZ1.4: vehicles from 4501cc engine capacity and more

Group SSV – light weight vehicles without FIA homologation.
Class
SSV.1: vehicles without turbo, engine and up to 1050cc
SSV.2: vehicles with turbo, engine and up to 1050cc
SSV.3: vehicles without turbo, engine more than 1050cc
SSV vehicles must comply with technical specifications described in this page.
Group Moto
A: Motorcycles under 280cc four stroke + under 250cc two stroke.
B: Motorcycles from 281cc to 365cc four stroke + over 250cc two stroke.
C: Motorcycles over 365cc and under 450cc
D: Motorcycles over 450cc and under 600cc
E: Motorcycles over 600cc Single Cylinder
F: Big EnduroTwin Cylinder
Group Quad
One Group. No subdivision

• Protection padding: Art. 283.8.3.5 of the 2017 Appendix J
• Fuel Tank for T2: Arts 283.14 and 284.6.8 of the 2017 Appendix J
• Fire extinguisher for T1: Art. 283.7.1.1 of the 2017 Appendix J
• Distance between rollcage and helmet: Art. 283.8.3.2.5 of the 2017 Appendix J.
• Tinted Windows: Art. 283.11 of the 2017 Appendix J

In 2018 Rally Greece Offroad, the following new regulations will be applied.
T1, T2, T3 competitors must also read carefully FIA relevant regulations. TZ1(TH relevant) and SSV competitors must also read carefully Supplementary Regulation. Don't hesitate to contact us for further information.
Technical & Safety Regulations
1) Competitors of T1, T2, T3, TZ1(TH relevant), SSV, must wear in Special Stages FHR devices.
Note that FHR Device must be used with helmets with Hans anchors.
2) Vehicles of T1, T2, T3, TZ1(TH relevant), SSV turbo must have a fixed extinguising system and a hand held extinguiser. Both FIA approved.
3) Vehicles of T1, T2, T3, TZ1(TH relevant), SSV must have, Mud flaps to all 4 wheels, Cut-off electricity switch.
4) Vehicles of T1, T2, T3, TZ1(TH relevant), SSV must have Roll Cage that respects FIA Appendix J.
Minimum Roll Cage standard for vehicles before 1/1/2005 is 283-1A
Minimum Roll Cage standard for vehicles after 1/1/2005 is 283-1B
5) Seats and Harnesses must be FIA homologated and date of manufacture must not be older than 10 years. Seat bases must be according to FIA Appendices. Harness anchorage must follow FIA regulation.
6) Fuel Tanks must be or FIA Approved or the original Fuel Tank in the original position.

PRE - SCRUTINEER Events
Due to new 2018 Safety Regulations, Organization Committee decided to conduct "Pre - Scrutineer Events" in order to assist Competitors to prepare or modify vehicles according to new standards.
As such, Organizers invite Competitors to attend "Pre - Scrutineer Events" as follows:

For any other country a "Pre-Scrutineer Event" can be organized from the moment that at least 4 vehicles are willing to participate in 2018 Rally Greece Offroad.

Scrutineering and Administrative Checks
Since 2013 and until 2017, Rally Greece Offroad has completed five editions with no competitor bodily injured ! Within these years and after a total of 5000km, this remarkable achievement was the result of high level safety standards but also due to competitor's compliance with technical safety regulations imposed by Organizers.

A good result in Final Classification of Rally Greece Offroad starts always with a careful preparation. For this reason we present you the document that Scrutineer will have to complete after examining the vehicle. In order to start the race you have to pass successfully Scrutineering.
